The Diaper bag is done messenger bag style, all done in the hoop, with NO raw edges. Even the flap is added in the hoop! (Finished purse is 6x9 closed or 9" x 11" when open)
I gotta say, I am loving this bag!! I love the size, and that it is done completely in the hoop.

This set is a great little set!! It could also be used as a travel bag for Mommy! Will fit real diapers and real wipes too! You could also use this bag as a lingerie bag when traveling. Add a button, add Velcro, tie a ribbon around it! I heart this bag. I can't wait to make one for me to carry jewelry in it.
The Wipes case holds pocket tissues. You could also cut felt squares to use as wipes and fold them back and forth so they come out like wipes do.

The Purse becomes a bed for baby, and if you turn the wipes case over, it becomes baby's pillow. Would be really easy to add a little fleece baby blanket to this set. Plenty of room in the diaper bag for it.

I am going to work with Ella this week making doll clothes out of fuzzy socks and different trims. Going to be a fun little Mommy and Me project. :)
If you haven't made doll clothes from socks, it's sooo much fun!! Just cut them up in different ways!! You can make a dress or shirt by cutting off the toe, and snipping 2 little arm holes. Sew tiny matching socks, and make her a headband. Use felt to make all kinds things for baby too. The possibilities are endless! Let the fun imagination begin!!
